However, the difficulty of working with reclaimed material can be daunting and poses many challenges.

New BarnWood wall boarding is a great resource for all these design elements. Our wall boarding is made exclusively from antique grade White Oak. The authentic character of White Oak gives our boarding its own personality, its very own story. Knots, flecks & mixed grains spread throughout each piece revealing a bespoke history.

We precisely mill and wire brush each board to created texture, depth and variety. A mix of carefully selected natural tannin stains are then applied to each board creating a wide range of grays and browns. Lastly, we apply a waterproof sealer coat to maintain color and protect the surface. All of our finishes and sealers are environmentally friendly and 100% VOC free.
