New BarnWood
New BarnWood is a unique alternative for reclaimed wall boarding, beams, flooring, doors and exterior siding.
We use Antique Rustic Grade White Oak for all of our New BarnWood products. Our material is properly forested and kiln died prior to milling and finishing.
All of our products are wire brushed to enhance the unique features in White Oak lumber and are then finished with a proprietary staining and finishing process to age & seal each board.
No, our wall boarding is design for interior use only. For exterior applications please visit our TEC Exterior Cladding product line.
Our boards are milled to 11/16” thick and range from 7’ – 12’ in length. We offer three standard widths: 5”, 7” & 9”. If you prefer all to have your wall boarding with all the same width we are happy to accommodate. Other widths are available – just ask us!
We mill New BarnWood into 3 standard profiles: Tongue & groove, ship lap and S4S. If you have another profile in mind – let us know… we are happy to accommodate!

All of our finishes are generally consistent from board to board, however, each piece will have a different molecular make up and will react uniquely with our finishes. It is normal for each piece of wood to have slight variations within each chosen finish.
Each of our products posses’ unique characteristics and beauty. While website photos and samples are a close representation, they are for reference only and cannot exactly match the end product.
Absolutely! Mixing finishes is the best way to get variety for your project.
Yes. Antique Rustic Grade is chosen for knots, checks, cracks and waned areas. We do not fill holes or defects. We recommend ordering 10% extra material if you do not want any visible holes through your boards.
No, the outer face of each board will be selected for visual defects and then wire brushed for additional depth and character. Although we profile sand our boards, there might be a sharp edge or two.
Yes! We offer samples at a nominal fee. They can be ordered through our website or by calling our office.

Our typical lead time is 3 weeks. Large projects may add additional time. Each job requirement is different, so we make our product on a per job basis.
